The second Michigan Agriculture and Food Index to be released March 4 during ANR Week Luncheon

The second Michigan Agriculture and Food Index. The index gauges the business climate for the state's agriculture and food businesses.

What:          The second Michigan Agriculture and Food Index. The index gauges the business climate for the state’s agriculture and food businesses. The first index was released in July 2013.

 

When:          March 4. The announcement will take place about 12:45 p.m. during the annual Agriculture and Natural Resources Week Luncheon, which begins at 11:30 a.m. Doors open at 11 a.m. Registration is required for lunch but not for the announcement.

Why:           This survey, conducted by the MSU Product Center, reveals that food and agriculture leaders are bullish on their industry and will continue to invest in jobs and infrastructure in Michigan.
