Four CANR profs earn University honors

Four individuals in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) have been selected to receive the William J. Beal Outstanding Faculty Award (formerly the Distinguished Faculty Award).

Four individuals in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) have been selected to receive the William J. Beal Outstanding Faculty Award (formerly the Distinguished Faculty Award). 

David Douches, professor in the Department of Plant, Soil and Microbial Science
Mary Hausbeck, professor in the Department of Plant, Soil and Microbial Science
Rick Horan, professor in the Department of Agricultural, Food & Resource Economics
Gary Parsons, specialist in the Department of Entomology

The recipients will receive their awards on Feb. 11, at the President’s State of the University Address and the Awards Convocation at the Wharton Center.
 
In recognition of this award, the CANR is hosting a reception in their honor on Feb. 11 from 1:30-2:30 p.m., in the Agriculture Hall Atrium.  (This is just prior to the Awards Convocation where they will receive their awards).
