Adrianna Sutton

Adrianna Sutton is the new Communications Manager of MSU's Forest Carbon and Climate Program (FCCP). In 2000, Adrianna earned a BFA in Visual Communications from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Shortly after, she began working with The University of Chicago Press where she spent four years learning the craft of bookmaking. Since then, her client list has grown to include The University of Minnesota Press, The Missouri Botanical Garden, Penguin Random House, and The American Library Association, among others. Most recently, she filled the role of Art Director at Timber Press where, over the last seven years, she's helped create stacks of beautiful books celebrating the natural world.

Adrianna also holds a two-year degree in Forestry and for several years worked with the USFS, Pacific Northwest Research Station. There, she performed data collection for the FIA program exploring diverse ecosystems throughout Washington and Oregon. During the winter months, she served on the station's Communications and Publications team as well as on the Information Reporting and Mapping team.

Adrianna is honored to join the FCCP team and looks forward to partnering with other curious, creative, and conscientious people in this new role. She brings over 20 years of experience in the publishing industry as well as several years of experience in Forestry. When she's not working, she enjoys reading, movies, and playing outside. You can learn more about her work on her website (adriannasutton.work) and on LinkedIn.
