Wheat plot tour scheduled

Huron County wheat growers are invited to view local MSU variety plot on June 29.

Huron County MSU Extension will host a tour of the local MSU wheat variety plot. The plot is located at the Darwin Sneller farm, located between Sebewaing and Owendale, half mile south of Sebewaing Road on Pobanz Road, east side of the road. The plot will be open to visitors from 10:00 AM until noon on Wednesday, June 29.

MSU wheat researchers will provide a brief program and will be available to answer questions. The balance of the time will be available to review and compare the more than seventy varieties entered into the plot.

No reservations are necessary. Contact the Huron County MSU Extension office at 989-269-9949 with questions.
