Manure Management: Am I doing it right?

Michigan State University Extension, the Gratiot Conservation District, and Cary Pioneer Farms Inc. will be presenting a manure management Lunch ‘N’ Learn to discuss how Cary Pioneer Farms Inc. is successfully managing manure on their farm. From diverting clean water to proper application, Cary Pioneer Farms Inc. is able to get the most bang for their buck with their manure all while maintaining the integrity of the environment!

Everyone is welcome to attend and attendees can earn 2 CCA credits as well as a MAEAP Phase I Credit. The Lunch ‘N’ Learn will take place on June 27th, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Cary Pioneer Farms Inc., 3977 Bliss Rd., Alma, MI 48801.

The day will start with registration from 10:30 until 11 a.m. and will include presentations from the Gratiot Conservation District, Matt Cary of Cary Pioneer Farms Inc., lunch, and a tour of the farm to see what best management practices are currently in use and working.
