PACT 2023 - Traverse City

May 15-17, 2023

The 2023 Pesticide Applicator Certification and Training (PACT) meeting will be held in Traverse City, MI May 15-17, 2023. Same dates new location! PACT now has a new meeting location, The Delamar, an upscale resort on the waterfront of Grand Traverse Bay in Traverse City.

In 2023 we will have in-person ‘In the Field’ tours and time for discussion on topics such as label- mandated training, recertification training, and more. A draft of the agenda and the pre-meeting webinar series is on the PACT Website.

The goal of the PACT is to provide State Lead Agencies (SLA’s) and Pesticide Safety Education Programs (PSEP)s staff and other stakeholders with information to support applicator certification and training and Worker Protection Standard programs and provide opportunities for networking. As in the past, there is no registration fee for anybody. We anticipate funding up to 3 nights of lodging for one representative from each SLA and PSEP of an entity with an EPA-approved certification plan. However, these representatives will be responsible for all other travel costs.

Also, the Certification and Training Assessment Group (CTAG) is planning a May 17-18, 2023, education, and training manual development workshop.
