A.J., a lifelong Spartan, received his B.S. in Packaging from Michigan State University in 2005. He began his career with UPS in Chicago, IL where he worked as a Packaging Engineer and Supervisor of Dangerous Goods.  In 2011 he was hired by the International Safe Transit Association (ISTA) as Vice President of Technical Operations and was promoted to the role of President/CEO in 2016.  He is a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Applied Packaging Research (JAPR) and sits on the Packaging Industry Advisory Boards for Cal Poly State University.  A.J. and his wife Tessa live in East Lansing, MI with their daughter Mia and son Will.
