Aaron Tucker advises undergraduate and graduate students majoring in or exploring the Packaging programs at Michigan State University’s School of Packaging located in East Lansing, Michigan. 

In 2010, Aaron received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the College of Communication Arts and Sciences at Michigan State University. In 2016, Aaron completed his Master of Arts degree in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education from the College of Education at Michigan State University. Aaron prides himself on being a first-generation college student who experienced a non-traditional undergraduate experience.

In 2011, Aaron began his professional career as an Academic Advisor with the Neighborhood Student Success Collaborative (NSSC) with Michigan State University. During his time with NSSC, Aaron worked with freshmen and sophomore students not admitted to a college, students in academic distress, first generation and Pell Eligible students, students exploring majors, minors, and other programs. Aaron began his journey with the School of Packaging in the summer of 2018. 

In his time with the School of Packaging, Aaron has established the Packaging Help Room (providing free tutoring for STEM admission coursework), served as the inaugural chair of the School of Packaging’s committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and is a key member of the School of Packaging Scholarship Committee. In 2021, Aaron accepted the role of Assistant Graduate Director of Academic Advising for non-thesis graduate students. In 2022 began his journey leading Packaging students on their summer education abroad trip to the United Kingdom. During this experience, students learn about UK standards of packaging, branding, counterfeit packaging, and materials. In 2022, Aaron joined the Center for Anti-Counterfeiting and Product Protection (A-CAPP) as adjunct faculty to support collaboration between A-CAPP and the School of Packaging. In 2023, Aaron accepted the role of Education Abroad Instructor and Coordinator for the summer United Kingdom program.
