  • What is your favorite outdoor activity?
    • Just hiking!
  • What is your position in the FCCP Team?
    • I am Program Director and I’ve been at MSU for 5 years now.
  • What is your favorite place in the world?
    • Of course I love Michigan forests and lakes, but I’ve also come to know and connect with the Andean mountains, cloud forests, and Amazon basin in Peru and Ecuador.  Besides the natural beauty, the ecological value and cultural richness of this part of the world has inspired me for nearly 15 years.
  • What is your educational background (school/degree)?
    • Wayne State University for Undergrad, University of Michigan for two Masters, MSU for PhD (go Green!).
  • What else should we know about you?
    • I have two beautiful children!  While I support whatever they’d like to do in life, I plan to ensure they can speak at least 1 language fluently other than English.
