I was originally born from lower omo pastoralist community of Nyangatom. In the area, there are plenty of government developmental projects that are carried out from upper omo river (GI, GII, GIII and GV/ which is known by the local name called koysha project) including the six Omo sugar factories. These all projects are carried out at upper omo river without considering the negative impact facing the lower omo stream. As we know at least 200000 indigenous people are heavily dependent on the Omo River for their survival. Because, development practices carryout on upper omo river have brought a wider variety of impact on Peoples and resources. Following this, therefore, I was supporting local community those are small farm holders using my CSO/ALPaDO, through provision of capacity building trainings: on fishing, environment protection, bio-cultural diversity, small scale irrigation, marketing and including other issues related to natural resource managements.
