College of Agriculture & Natural Resources Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition

Aislinn earned her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Concordia University Chicago in 2007 and her Master of Science in Communication and Information Sciences from Tilburg University in 2018. She joined MSU in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition in 2022. 

Core Responsibilities:

• Provides support to the Graduate Program Director, Graduate Affairs Committee (GAC) and Graduate Student Association
• Provides support for all aspects of the graduate student program; manage the application process, draft/send acceptance or rejection correspondence to applicants, coordinate and participate in assistantship and scholarship application and selection process, tracking student progress using checklist for program requirements
• Processes graduate scholarships and assistantships
• Answers questions from current/prospective students on application process, program requirements, scholarship/assistantship opportunities, etc.
• Manage and update department’s communications 
• Provide support to faculty for grade submission
• Provide support to the Seminar Committee to plan/coordinate annual fall seminar series
• Plan/Coordinate the G. Malcolm Trout annual lecture and spring awards ceremony
• Provide support for the senior picnic, and other departmental events
