Ali was born and raised in Ann Arbor, MI. She came up to Michigan State University in the early '90s and never left, first earning her B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife with an emphasis on Conservation Biology and later working as accounting support staff for two departments on campus. She joined the CRFS team in September 2019 as the Business Operations Manager.
