Alyssa Maturen
Alyssa Maturen serves as the Immunization Education Health Supervising Educator in MSU Extension’s Health and Nutrition Institute collaboration with the Michigan Vaccine Project. She currently supervises a statewide team of Program Instructors with the goal of increasing vaccination education to Michigan’s rural communities. Alyssa has a health-based background, with education in Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Psychology, and Global Health. Her previous work in a rural Emergency Department solidified her desire to continue working with and educating rural communities. She has experience in team leadership, curriculum and training development, and grant writing, and is based out of the St. Clair office.
