Amy Wellington is the Michigan ArtShare project director and has been working with Michigan ArtShare since September 2012. Amy has previously held many positions within the arts and culture community of Michigan beginning at Ella Sharp Museum in Jackson. Amy began her role at the Ella’s education department renovating programs and producing all arts and cultural educational programming. In her time at Ella, Amy produced large community and fundraising events. Amy also managed administrative duties as the assistant executive director and interim executive director. She also served on the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Jackson County's Board of Directors for eight years, was a public art committee chair and and was part of the education committee. Amy holds a BFA from Alma College and is a working mixed media artist and letterpress printer.
