Plant and Pest Diagnostics Role:

Angela Tenney has been with MSU Plant and Pest Diagnostics laboratory for 22 years.  Her primary responsibilities include identification and enumeration of plant-parasitic nematodes associated with soil, roots, and plant tissue.  In addition to nematodes, she is involved with the identification of unknown plants submitted by various types of clients from every imaginable habitat in Michigan.  She also collaborates with her diagnostic colleagues in outreach activities including presentations, articles, and web content relating to her areas of expertise.  She is a native of Michigan and holds degrees in Crop and Soil Science (B.S.) and Entomology (M.S.) from Michigan State University.
