Autumn Converse Williams
Autumn Converse is the 4-H Livestock and Veterinary Science Extension Educator for Michigan State University Extension. Autumn's primary office is in Anthony Hall on campus.
In this role, Autumn's areas of focus include beef, sheep, swine, goats, and veterinary science. This includes key statewide programs such as 4-H Animal and Veterinary Science Camp, 4-H Animal Science Career Quest, livestock workshops, general livestock judging programs and contests, and more. Autumn is also the Michigan point-of-contact for Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) and is a Pork Quality Assurance Plus (PQA+) advisor.
Autumn is no stranger to Extension or 4-H. Before starting her current role in June of 2022, Autumn served as the 4-H Program Coordinator in St. Joseph County. Prior to moving to Michigan, she began her Extension career with Ohio State University Extension as a 4-H Program Assistant in Ottawa County, Ohio. She is a proud Wood County, Ohio 4-H alum.
Autumn has a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences and Master's degree in Agricultural and Extension Education, both from The Ohio State University.
