Bill Sweany maintains the 35 acres of grass alleys and building grounds at the Saginaw Valley Research and Extension Center, and assists with the center's field day events. Prior to his current position, Sweany, a Gratiot county native, worked in the automotive industry. He enjoys his role as groundskeeper because it allows him to spend time outdoors around agriculture.
