Senior Extension Educator and HUD Certified Housing Counselor based in Ionia County from 2002 until the MSU Extension restructuring in 2010, when Long’s responsibilities expanded to six mid-Michigan counties, including Montcalm, Gratiot, Clinton, Eaton, Ingham. Long has been responsible for planning, promoting, conducting and evaluating education programs focused on financial capacity, home buyer, and foreclosure prevention education. As current co-chair of the Financial and Homeownership workteam, Long has been instrumental in developing and/or training for regional and statewide programs that enhance county programs.
