Chris graduated from MSU in 2016 with his Bachelors of Science in Zoology, with a concentration in cell and developmental biology. As an undergraduate student, he started working in Dr. Faisal’s Aquatic Animal Health lab. Chris will be continuing work and research in the lab as a graduate student. The lab inspects hatchery raised fish for various pathogens, submitted to them by the MDNR, as well as private diagnostic cases. His research in the lab will be on Flavobacterium psychrophilum, a bacteria responsible for the devastating Coldwater Disease that can wreak havoc on hatchery raised fish.
