Fortunata Chuwa is a Nutritionist with over 8 years of working experience in programme management. She currently works with ASPIRES as a Nutrition Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist directly supporting Tanzania Food and Nutrition Centre (TFNC) in implementing the National Multisectoral Nutrition Action Plan (NMNAP). Prior to working with ASPIRES, Fortunata worked with UNICEF Tanzania as a Nutrition Officer overseeing Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition Programme, UN Women as Gender and Social Inclusion Analyst, WFP as senior programme assistant for school feeding programme.
Ms. Fortunata holds a Master’s degree in Social Development and International Health from Queen Margaret University (Edinburgh, UK) and a Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics and Human Nutrition from Sokoine University of Agriculture, Tanzania
