Daniel Schaub
Daniel Schaub is the Michigan State University Extension 4-H Program Coordinator for Leelanau County, Michigan.
Danny works to provide Leelanau County new and exiting programs in agriculture, science, technology, and outdoor activities.
Background:
Danny has extensive experience in research while attending Michigan State University, Montana State University and University of Idaho. As an undergraduate and graduate research assistant/ Additionally, he held teaching responsibilities as a graduate teaching assistant at Montana State and the University of Idaho. Danny was a 4-H’er while growing up in Leelanau County.
Outside of work, Danny is passionate about managing his growing sheep and livestock farm, fishing, and snowboarding. He also aspires to conduct on-farm research exploring the interactions between plants, animals, and microbes to improve ecological function and develop practical, applicable solutions for farmers.
