MSU Extension

Dr. Danielle Dalimonte currently works as a Research Scientist for MSU Extension in the Health and Nutrition Institute. A developmental scientist by training, she specializes in individual differences and interpersonal relationships with an interest in advanced quantitative methods. Dr. Dalimonte brings a range of content expertise in social-emotional development, differential susceptibility, person x environment fit, and the use of exploratory statistical models to MSU Extension with a view toward looking beyond aggregate mean differences to capture heterogeneity in developmental pathways. Examples of her published work can be found in Child Development, Early Childhood Research Quarterly, the Journal of Community Psychology, and the Annals of Behavioral Medicine. Dr. Dalimonte's role with Extension includes using data both to enhance the reach and effectiveness of programming and also to advance our commitment to engaging with communities in a manner that reflects mutual respect, humility, and a dedication to the co-creation of solutions.
