My name is David (Dave) Glenn Main. I’ve been employed at the university since the fall of 1981.  I started working for the Animal Science Dept as an undergrad at the old Livestock Pavlion under the supervision of Marshall Williams (ret. 2010).  I did help the rodeo club clean up after a rodeo in 1980 and was paid in McDonald hamburgers, if that counts as employment.  In 1985 I started a master’s program with Dr. Steven Rust and received a half time assistantship through August of 1988.  August 29, 1988 I began my career as a Research Assistant with Dr. Michael Allen.  Our group conducts nutritionally related experiments with dairy cows at the dairy barn and analyze many samples in several labs in Anthony Hall.
