Dr. Boubacar Diallo joined the Michigan State University Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics in 2009 as an Assistant Professor, International Development helping carry out applied research, outreach, and capacity building with West African partners. From 2002 to 2006, he has led the MSU Regional Food Security Program at the Research Institute of Sahel (INSAH/CILSS) based in Mali. Diallo is currently working on:
- Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Food Security Policy: Mali
- Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Food Security Policy: Senegal
- Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Food Security Policy: West Africa
Prior to his doctoral studies, Boubacar Diallo worked extensively in monitoring and evaluation with Care International for five years (1990-1995).
