Elizabeth Nyanja, CGMA, CA, is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CIMA) and a holder of a Masters in Business Administration degree from University of Derby and a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants in Malawi (ICAM). She is primarily responsible for the management of financial, accounting, and human resource operations of the project. She has over twelve years of experience in financial management and operations, grants management and administration that has been gained through working with both public and private entities in local as well as International organization settings. Elizabeth, previously worked as Director of Finance and Operations for Chemonics International (HRH 2030Program), a USAID funded project, where she was responsible for all financial, grants and administrative operations. She worked for Sight Savers International as Finance and Support Services Manager after she rose from the position of Project Finance Officer. She among others managed the Trust Project and all the partners, conducted capacity building to all implementing partners in financial management and compliance as well as conducting audits for all implementing partners.
