I am a PhD student in the Szendrei lab. My research focuses on the effects of anthropogenic impacts, specifically heat waves, on ecosystem interactions. To predict how species interactions may change as temperature increases, I will study the physiology of different species of plants, as well as insect distributions. In addition, I want to examine if plant genetic variability can help mitigate the impacts of increasing temperatures.
