Ming is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics at Michigan State University and will be on the job market during the 2022-2023 academic year. He works mainly on topics in Development Economics and Agricultural Economics, with a focus on understanding how rural farmers in developing countries respond to environmental and institutional changes in agricultural production, employment, consumption, educational arrangement, etc., and the implications on social welfare and public policy.
