Farid Gahramanov
Farid became a member of the group in Spring 2023 and focuses on designing biodegradable and recyclable, PFAS-free, water-based polymer coatings. He completed his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at Baku Higher Oil School in Azerbaijan and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at Michigan State University.
He is especially interested in sustainable materials, recycling, and the circular economy, and he is also drawn to startups and entrepreneurship, with an eye toward future opportunities in business.
