Janelle Stewart is a Michigan State University Extension Educator overseeing the Lenawee County 4-H program. She also has statewide programming responsibilities in leadership and civic engagement. Janelle has a passion for community youth engagement work, specifically giving youth a voice in leadership positions on councils, boards, and committees. Janelle is committed to teaching youth how to gain and utilize skills to become today’s leaders.

Additionally, Janelle is a certified instructor by the National Council for Behavioral Health in both Youth and Teen Mental Health First Aid. She is also a certified trainer for Screening Applicants for Effectiveness (SAFE) and Youth Quality Care of Animals (YQCA).
