Jordan Lindsay
Jordan provides technical assistance and coaching to local food policy councils around grassroots organizing to build power for food policy that advances the goals of the Michigan Good Food Charter. They co-facilitate the Michigan Local Food Council Network Policy Advocacy Learning Cohort and support other regional events and initiatives that develop community organizing power in our local food movements.
Prior to joining CRFS, Jordan earned their Associate Certified Coach credentials through the International Coaching Federation and was running a coaching practice focused on supporting social justice organizers and organizations to dismantle white supremacy culture and build cultures that actively empower all people. They have over twelve years of organizing experience in movements like environmental justice, food justice, and labor justice with a framework that centers collective liberation.
