Jose Maria Martinez
Jose will be joining the Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics as a Ph.D. student in the Spring 2021 semester. His research interest lies in the intersection between agricultural technology adoption, economic impact assessment, and sustainability science. He has previously been at MSU as a visiting researcher in Fall 2019, researching paths for proper impact assessment practices in studies measuring effects from social and technical interventions on the productivity and sustainability of cacao crops. From Cali, Colombia, Martinez has a master's degree in Applied Economics and a bachelos in Economics from Universidad del Valle.
