Joseph Maguire is an instructor and adjunct professor of construction management in the School of Planning, Design and Construction at Michigan State University. A real estate industry veteran of 34 years, he continues to serve as president and CEO of Wolverine Development Corporation in East Lansing. He earned his MS in Real Estate Development at the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, where produce his master’s thesis: Adaptive Reuse, a Case Study: North Pier Chicago. He also holds a BA in Economics from Northwestern University. He is co-founder of SPDC’s Industry Seminar Series and serves on the Industry Advisory Board for the Construction Management Program.
