MSU Extension

Kassie joined the team at Tollgate Farm in March of 2024. Starting as a member of the education team, she continued to grow her knowledge, now fulfilling the role of Program Coordinator. As Program Coordinator, Kassie coordinates Tollgate's successful Summer Farm Camp, School Programs, and Stewards Program. 

Kassie graduated in December 2022 with a degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability from Michigan State University. During her time at MSU, she also gained experience working with MSU College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, MSU Department of Fisheries and Wildlife, Lavender Hill Farm, and The Howell Nature Center. 

Kassie believes passion for outdoor education and hand-on learning is something that everyone should experience and she hopes to accomplish that during her time at Tollgate Farm and Education Center.
