Katelyn Golembiewski
Katelyn Golembiewski is a Michigan State University Extension 4-H program coordinator in Macomb County. She has worked in this capacity since February 2018. In this role, Katelyn provides leadership and management of local 4-H programs, volunteers, and youth participants in Macomb County. She promotes and strengthens the Macomb County 4-H program by developing programs and partnerships, promoting and evaluating 4-H programs, and recruiting and training volunteers. Katelyn is also the liaison from the state Michigan 4-H office and helps to ensure that statewide opportunities and information are available to local participants.
Katelyn also serves as the Michigan 4-H Military Liaison. In this position, she works to connect military-connected youth and families to 4-H. She works with military partners across the state and brings information from the National 4-H Military Partnership to the Michigan 4-H community.
Prior to joining MSU Extension in 2018, Katelyn attended Michigan State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries and Wildlife and minors in Sustainability Studies and Leadership in Integrated Learning. In 2022, Katelyn began working on a Master of Arts degree in Youth Development at MSU through the Great Plains IDEA program.
