Kat Jacques is the Federally Recognized Tribal Extension Program instructor. FRTEP partners with four of Michigan’s federally recognized tribes to build relationships between MSUE and tribal partners, connect tribal farmers to resources and support our tribal partners in their self-determined community food system projects. Her home office is located in Chippewa County on the campus of Bay Mills Community College.
