Kimberly Kin
Kimberly Kin, M.Ed., is a Michigan State University Extension Community and Nutrition Supervisor. Kimberly is on the Nutrition Physical Activity (NPA) team, and oversees district 12 which includes Hillsdale, Lenawee, Livingston, Jackson, Washtenaw and Monroe counties.
Kimberly is a leader passionate about helping others reach their full potential while having a positive impact on the health and wellness of the community. In her role as Supervising & Staff Development she serves as a leader and mentor for her team of Community Nutrition Instructors, as they use their strengths to provide healthy eating and physical activity education to the community. In addition to providing education, she and her team work together to provide Policy, Systems and Environmental (PSE) changes within the communities. This PSE work helps to make healthy choices more readily and easily accessible, which supports the education they provide.
Kimberly earned her undergrad from Northwood University in Business Management and her Master of Education with a major in Health Education from Wayne State University. She holds certifications as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer.
