LaToya Jones is a Michigan State University Extension 4-H Program Coordinator in Wayne County, focusing on 4-H programs and volunteer management in Detroit and the surrounding cities. LaToya’s primary office is in the City of Detroit, MI.
 
In this role, LaToya Jones provides leadership and management of local 4-H programs, volunteers, and youth participants in Wayne County. She promotes and strengthens the Wayne County 4-H program by developing programs and partnerships, promoting and evaluating 4-H programs, and recruiting and training volunteers. LaToya Jones is also the liaison from the state Michigan 4-H office and helps to ensure that statewide opportunities and information are available to local participants.
 
Prior to joining MSU Extension, LaToya held multiple titles as; Student Advocate Support Coordinator, Program Specialist, Project and Events Operation Coordinator and Volunteer Program Coordinator for combined experience of over 15 years. She holds an Associate in Business and Bachelor in Marketing/Management. Additionally, LaToya has held many roles that serve her passion of representing the underrepresented within the city she was born and raised in, City of Detroit, County of Wayne.
