Lauren Jones
Degree: B.S. Packaging
She is a senior packaging student at Michigan State. She plans to graduate in May 2018. She is a member of Pi Kappa Gamma, CoPPAC, and the Packaging Freshman Mentoring Program. She studied abroad in the United Kingdom for Packaging in the summer of 2016. She also completed an 8-month internship with Church & Dwight Inc., Co. working in Personal care packaging. She hopes to work for a consumer packaged goods company upon graduation.
Project worked on: Plant-Oil Based Polymers.
Duration in group: September 2016-December 2016.
Areas of Interest: Sustainable packaging and focusing on the use of how to recycle labeling as well as increase use of Post-Consumer Resin.
