Background and Research Interests

Lucas graduated from Morgan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences. He is a doctoral student working with Dr. Fenton on projects examining the role of phenolic compounds and fatty acids found in whole foods and their role in reducing obesity-induced inflammation and disease risk.
