My research focuses on predator-prey interactions and how these interactions are affected by plant quality and habitat structure. Specifically, I am working with the imported cabbageworm which is a large pest to crops in the Brassicaceae family. I am interested in how the quality of the crop and the presence of cover crops will impact host choice of the imported cabbageworm, the interactions of the imported cabbageworm with its predators, and the subsequent consumptive and non-consumptive effects.
