Martha Gerig, PhD
Dr. Martha Gerig works with MSU Extension and Michigan Sea Grant to serve as an educator in central Upper Peninsula. Dr. Gerig divides her time between the two Extension offices in Delta and Marquette counties, working to apply science-based knowledge to address Great Lakes issues. Her focus areas include coastal resiliency, environmental change, and fisheries. Starting in September 2019, Dr. Gerig has dedicated her time in areas such as climate change initiatives and vessel-based education programs.
