Degree: Ph.D in Applied Chemistry

Muhammad belongs to the Kamboh family from Muridke, Pakistan. He did his Bachelor’s of Science (B.Sc) from Govt MAO College Lahore in 2009. He did his Master’s of Science in Applied Chemistry from GC University Faisalabad in 2012. He also completed his Master’s of Philosophy in Applied Chemistry from same University in 2015. Now he is currently enrolled in Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Applied chemistry. He served as a Research Associate on a HEC (Pakistan) funded research project for a period of three years worked on Halloysite nanotubes-based polymer composites for high performance applications. He has published over 7 scientific papers in leading peer-reviewed journals such as ACS Applied Polymer Materials, RSC Advances, Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry, Polymers, Radiation Physics and Chemistry, etc. Since in this research group, Muhammad has two US patents based on smart polymer coatings and he is working on another US patent (filed patent disclosure).

Duration in group: October 2018 - Present.

Area of Interest: Muhammad is passionate in researching polymer synthesis, nanocomposite, biopolymers, multi-functional and smart polymers applications and coatings materials.

Project Title: Synthesis of smart polymers and their technological applications.
