Biography: Nick earned a B.S. degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from MSU and a M.S. degree from the University of Connecticut studying brown trout movements in specially regulated waters. Nick’s career path has taken him to the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission, the U.S. Geological Survey in Arizona and Washington and he currently works for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Over Nick’s 12 year career with the MI DNR, he’s worked for Fisheries Division and led the Tribal Coordination Unit and Aquatic Species and Regulatory Affairs Unit. Nick specializes in negotiation, fisheries policy, invasive species, regulations, commercial fishing, and legislative affairs.
