Disease Prevention and Management

Pam has been an Extension Educator in the Health & Nutrition Institute since 2013.  Her service area is District 6, counties include, Wexford, Missaukee, Osceola, Clare, Gladwin, Mecosta, and Isabella.   

Along with local, state, and multi-state duties, Pam delivers a wide variety of Michigan State University Extension’s educational programs. Specialized outreach focuses on individuals and families challenged with chronic illness or at high risk for chronic disease including diabetes. 

As the MSU Extension statewide and multi-state lead for Dining with Diabetes, Pam works to bring partners and stakeholders together to provide the best in community diabetes self-management opportunities. 

Pam earned her diabetes educator credentialing from the American Association of Diabetes Educators, and holds a master’s degree in Human Service Health and Wellness Counseling.
