Remington Rice, also known as Rem or Remi, is an accomplished Extension educator who leads the Managing Farm Stress program, which provides valuable resources such as teletherapy and a free online course to help identify warning signs of stress and suicide for farmers, farm families, and other agricultural professionals. You can learn more about this statewide initiative here.

As a fifth-generation farmer from Northern Michigan, Remi's passion for farming is deeply rooted in his family history. He grew up raising animals for local 4-H fairs and still cherishes his FFA jacket. His strong work ethic and the lessons learned on the farm motivated him to pursue a doctorate in Health Psychology.

In his current role at MSU Extension, Remi meets with farmers throughout Michigan, either in person or virtually, to help them achieve their health goals and offer support during challenging days. Reach out to Remi today for assistance on the farm and to learn more about how MSU Extension can benefit your community.
