Sarah Schaner has been overseeing the Oceana County 4-H Program program since 2018. Prior to that, she was an Oceana County 4-H youth member & an adult volunteer where she spent her time a part of the horse project.
Sarah studied at Ferris State University after graduating from Shelby High School. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with Associate's in Small Business Entrepreneurship & Communications.
Sarah has a love for youth and animals. She & her husband own a horse farm in Hart, Schaner Stables. They spend their time partnering with animal rescues to foster & rehabilitate equines and felines for the community. Her love for horses and cats came from the experiences she had growing up in 4-H. She is also the head varsity competitive cheerleading coach at Shelby High School.
