Stratton Lee, III
Stratton Lee, III, is the assistant director for undergraduate programs in the Michigan State University (MSU) College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR).
In this role, Lee oversees several undergraduate programs in the college including the fall welcome, commencement, the CANR Undergraduate Research Program and the American Semester Program. Additionally, he also provides logistical and recruitment support for the Demmer Scholars and will be the lead instructor for the Glassen Scholars Program.
Lee also works with CANR to foster access and inclusion related to student programs. He currently serves as vice president of the MSU Chapter of the Black Faculty, Staff and Administrators Association and is the MSU Institutional Diversity: Excellence in Action Committee representative for the MSU Neighborhoods.
Lee has over 10 years of academic advising experience at MSU having served as an advising director for the Neighborhood Student Success Collaborative and as an academic advisor for the College of Communication Arts and Sciences’ journalism program. He has a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a master’s degree in counseling, both from MSU.
