Talynn Johnson is a Michigan State University Extension 4-H program coordinator in Gladwin County. She has served in this role since January 2022.
 
In her role as 4-H program coordinator, Talynn provides leadership and management of local 4-H programs, volunteers, and youth participants in Gladwin County. She promotes and strengthens the Gladwin County 4-H program by developing programs and partnerships, promoting and evaluating 4-H programs, and recruiting and training volunteers. Talynn is also the liaison from the state Michigan 4-H office helps to ensure that statewide opportunities and information is available to local participants.
 
Talynn grew up in the Livingston County 4-H program, serving as the president of her 4-H Club throughout high school and showing swine, sheep, and poultry. Talynn received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saginaw Valley State University in May 2020 and her Masters in Wildlife and Fisheries Resources from Clemson University in December 2022. Before joining the Gladwin County Extension team, Talynn was an AmeriCorps member with Huron Pines AmeriCorps where she served with Michigan State University Extension and Michigan Sea Grant in the Macomb County Michigan State University Extension office.
