Taylor Fabus is an Extension Educator in the Animal Science Department at Michigan State University. Taylor received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Animal Science from Michigan State University. She currently instructs introductory horse management classes, coaches the MSU Horse Judging team, and is the faculty advisor for the MSU Equestrian Hunt Seat Team. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Taylor is responsible for coordinating Michigan’s state-level 4-H horse events such as the State 4-H Horse Show, 4-H Teen & Adult Horse Leaders' Conference, 4-H hippology contest, 4-H state horse judging contests, and other clinics & workshops. She also leads the charge on Michigan 4-H’s Sportsmanship & Competitive Event Resources. Additionally, Taylor focuses heavily on expanding the reach of Michigan 4-H Horse Programs through social media content, so be sure to follow the Michigan 4-H Horse Program on Facebook. Taylor and her husband own a horse boarding operation in Ovid, MI. Taylor spends her limited free time…at horse shows of course! Her young daughters compete in all-around events at horse shows throughout Michigan.
