Biography:

An East Lansing native, I graduated with my bachelors in Fisheries and Wildlife and Zoology from MSU in 2016. While I’ve bounced around participating in a diverse array of seasonal gigs since the beginning of my undergrad, my favorites have been herp focused. As an undergrad at MSU, I was the TA for the Biology of Amphibians and Reptiles course and was the husbandry specialist for a turtle and tortoise head-starting program. After graduating I worked with eastern massasauga rattlesnakes in Southern Michigan and timber rattlesnakes in Central Pennsylvania. I am now an M.S. student in Gary Roloff’s Applied Forest and Wildlife Ecology Laboratory working with wood turtles and golden-winged warblers on privately managed timberland in Michigan’s UP. While I am not working on my project, I enjoy illustrating and photographing wildlife, rock hunting, hiking, biking and playing Dungeons and Dragons with my friends.
